Set in a picturesque village on the banks of the River Trent near Scunthorpe, the pub has a firmly established reputation, originally built in 1700s. Our bar has the ambiance of an old country house with comfy seats, roaring fires, and wooden floors.

Our mission here at the Dog & Gun pub and restaurant is to provide food that is fresh, local and traceable, supporting local farmers and producers, and offering you a hearty meal that's both local and tasty. We buy our meat from local farmers and reputable butchers to ensure that we offer only the best. All of our fresh fruit and vegetables come from a local, family run business. We pride ourselves on using fresh and sustainable seafood too, collected direct from Grimsby and never frozen.
